Dr. Vidal serves as the founder and primary director of the Miami International Music Jr. Academy, an elite, highly individualized conservatory offering a rigorous, comprehensive curriculum for gifted young pianists aged 8 to 18 who seek to be inspired, challenged, and empowered to maximize their artistic potential. Concurrently, his Global Masterclass Studio operates as a premier international platform specifically tailored for advanced pianists worldwide who are actively preparing for elite international competitions, prominent music festivals, and competitive university music auditions.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Vidal has held academic appointments as a Lecturer at the University of Miami, Miami Dade College, New World School of the Arts, and Florida International University. He has also been successfully invited to conduct advanced music masterclasses at numerous other notable higher education institutions, including SUNY Oneonta, Seattle Pacific University, and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
Furthermore, Dr. Vidal is officially appointed as an Associate Professor for the Joyeux Music International Piano Festivals & Competitions in Singapore and regularly adjudicates piano competitions around the world. He is also the founder and artistic director of Summer in Florence, an immersive study-abroad program in Italy combining language, culture, and comprehensive music education for all adult student participants.
